The next regularly scheduled Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 6 at the North Howell Little League Complex. Start time will be 7:00pm. All Board Nominees must be present to accept their nomination for a spot on this years ballot.

All regularly scheduled North Howell Little League Board meetings are open to general membership participation.

Division Description

T-Ball

The age for T-Ball requires the player be at least 5 years of age prior to May 1, using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).  Exceptions for 6 year olds to play in the T-Ball division will be made on a case by case basis.  This exception must be determined Prior To Opening Day.  No changes will be made to the division roster after opening day of the 2006 season.

T-Ball Rules

Pee-Wee

The local age for Pee-Wee requires the player be at least 6 years of age and not more than 7 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).  Pee-Wee division is a Coach Pitch only division.  7 year olds have the option to play in this division by default or move to the Rookie division.  This option must be determined Prior To Opening Day. No changes will be made to the division roster after opening day of the 2006 season.

Pee-Wee Rules

Rookie

The local age for Rookie requires the player be at least 7 years of age and not more than 9 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).  The Rookie division is a Kid Pitch only division.  8 and 9 year olds have the option to play in this division by default or attend try-outs for Rookie and Minor divisions  and be placed respectively to the players skill level.  This option must be determined after try-outs and Prior To Opening Day. No changes will be made to the division roster after opening day of the 2006 season.

Rookie Rules

Minor

The local age for Minor requires the player be at least 8 years of age and not more than 11 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).  The Minor division is a competitive league preparing the players for selection to the All-Stars.  All Minor players must attend Try-Outs as scheduled by the the Try-Out Committee.  Some 10 year olds will have the option to play in this division by default or attend try-outs for the Major division.  The player will be notified of this option dependent on the players performance assessment during Try-Outs for Rookie/Minor.   This players placement will be determined bases upon his/her performance assessment at Try-Outs for the Major division.  This option must be determined after Try-Outs and Prior To Opening Day. A player can not play in the Major division and then return to the Minor division.  No changes will be made to the division roster after opening day of the 2006 season.

Minor Rules

Major

The local age for Major requires the player be at least 10 years of age and not more than 12 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).  All Major players must attend Try-Outs as scheduled by the the Try-Out Committee.  Try-Outs at this level allow the league to construct highly competitive rosters, preparing the players for selection to the All-Stars.  11 year olds will be evaluated for placement in the Major or Minor Division based upon skill assessment during Try-Outs.  All positions must be determined after Try-Outs and Prior To Opening Day.  No changes will be made to the division roster after opening day of the 2006 season.

Major Rules

Junior

The age for Junior Requires the player be at least 12 years of age and not more than 14 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).

Senior

The age for Senior Requires the player be at least 14 years of age and not more than 16 years of age using the Age Chart published by Little League (Age Chart).
