NORTH HOWELL LITTLE LEAGUE
MANDATORY PARENTS MEETING
PLACE:
MIDDLE SCHOOL NORTH CAFETORIUM
DATES: Mon. Feb. 23rd 2009 7:00PM
Wed. Feb. 25th 2009 7:00PM
In an effort to provide the best possible experience for our children
and their families, we find it extremely important
that at least one parent or guardian, from each member family,
attends one of these meetings.
(It is not mandatory that those families with members who coach and who have
already
attended the required coach's meetings, attend a parent's meeting.)
Those who wish to maintain their "Member in good standing" status, must
attend either one of the Coaches meetings (coaches only) or one of the
Parents meetings. Only Members/Families in good standing will be
permitted a vote in all future Board of Director elections or on policy
changes in which general Membership voting is required.
Topics of discussion will include:
-
NHLL financial report
-
Capitol projects planned
-
Volunteer requirements
-
Draft process
-
All Star selection
-
The future of our organization
This
past year,
NHLL has was given the honor of hosting the Section 3 State Finals of
the 11-12 year old division. This Tournament began on July 14 and was
completed, with the if necessary game being played on July 21. Special
thanks to all the
volunteer members who worked so hard to make this such a memorable experience
for all the visiting teams; their players, coaches, parents and fans.
Our guests could not tell us enough about what a tremendous job everyone had done,
and what a wonderful time they had.
Thank you as well, to those volunteers for making this Tournament such a
rewarding organizational success. One in which all our members could be
proud.
ATTN. COACHES and
PARENTS:
There are new Township fingerprinting policies and
procedures in place which are officially mandated
by Township Ordinance. By clicking the link
below, you will find detailed information on these
procedures, as well as a link that will allow all
residents to view a complete list of approved
coaches, not only in our organization, but for all
those throughout the Town. If you have any questions
or concerns about a coach's qualifications, please
do not hesitate to bring them to the attention of a
Board Member personally, or through an email to the
League.
We thank you in advance for your help in this
matter.
